On Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th November, technicians from the Government of Navarre travelled to Toulouse to participate in the International Final Symposium of the Innovine project. They presented a poster on the Warning and Alert Station, coordinated in Navarre by INTIA within the framework of the LIFE AGROintegra project.
The AGROintegra platform is a webSIG application whose objective is to transmit information to the sector on the monitoring in campaign and the evolution of pests and diseases in different crops in Navarre, in the field of integrated crop management.
In the opinion of the technicians, this tool was well received by European experts, which reinforces the development carried out in the project, which is moving in the same direction as the other participating countries, with the aim of better identification of pests and diseases in the crop, incorporating weather forecast data at 7 days, which allow anticipating and refining the strategy for control.
Furthermore, in this meeting they were able to compare opinions and experiences with the French and Italian representatives at the event, who contributed their experience with similar tools successfully tested in wineries. In addition, they had the opportunity to learn first-hand about the novelties presented in terms of innovative sensors developed for a better diagnosis of the state of the vineyard in the field, which makes it possible to develop diagnostic maps of the crop by zones, as well as tools to aid decision making.
